On the 13th of January a Christmas performance was organized in the Russian cultural centre of Beijing (RCC). It was prepared by the children who attend Sunday church school. The children sang songs, read poems, and guessed Christmas puzzles. The performance of the doll theatre became the main point of the event. All pupils of the Sunday school and other children who visited the event were presented Christmas gifts.
A lot of guests, the parishioners of the church, reporters from the Russian-speaking channel of Chinese TV (CCTV) attended the performance. The rector of the Dormition church priest Sergiy Voronin emphasized in the interview that the Sunday school has been existed in Beijing for 3 years. During this period the Dormition church has warm relations with the RCC which in its turn is always ready to provide different church performances and holidays.
