The service was headed by the rector of the Dormition church priest Sergey Voronin. The assistant priest was hegumen Melety (Sokolov) from the Holy Trinity-St.Sergius Lavra Monastery, Russia. Not only Russian residents but also the parishioners from Serbia, Moldova, the Ukraine, Belorussia, Ethiopia, the USA and France came to the church on this night. The members of the diplomatic mission of Russia, the Ukraine, Belorussia, Macedonia, the representatives of the Shanghai organization of cooperation prayed during the Devine service.
